Our bird products are constructed with the birds’ best interests in mind. They are not intended to be decorative, but functional, long lasting and in many cases species-specific. They are not painted, stained or otherwise treated to provide the safest, healthiest environment for birds to live, breed eat and bathe. They are constructed of western red cedar for maximum rot and decay resistance. Over time they will slowly weather to a nice rustic grey color. All hardware used in our outdoor products are weather-resistant  stainless steel or polymer coated.
